Later the name was applied to a division of the Remington Rand company and successor organizations. This is the January 1953 Remington Rand Univac Manual 1, first revision of the Programming Manual dated March 23, 1951, with 2 charts in a pocket in the back and an additional chapter introducing advanced programming techniques to be released in a later treatise with Manual 2.
